Ways to Go Oil Free

Not all of the ideas, links, or tips are directly related with oil, though they are directed to related to dirty energy which is not good either.

At Home:
  1. Make your own cleaning products
  2. Dry your clothes on an outdoor clothesline
  3. Use water-based paints instead of oil-based paints. Green Planet Paints is my favorite type of paint for the house. Feels amazing to the touch with an earthy smell!
  4. Use a push mower
  5. Rake and/or sweep, rather than blow, leaves and other yard waste
  6. Maintain your air conditioner or swamp cooler
  7. Purchase Energy Star products or other energy efficient appliances, home electronics, and lighting
